Abby & Ben's Wedding

Abby and Ben are married! Their wedding day in Grand Lake was perfect- you could not have imagined a more beautiful day in the mountains. I loved the natural setting of the barn surrounded by gorgeous meadows and the Colorado River. The personal details of their wedding were incredible, from hand woven program baskets to dessert made by Abby’s uncle! It is clear from their families and friends how much love and laughter surround these two – they will certainly be “forever young”...

2010 Colorado Dragon Boat Festival

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival at Sloan's Lake Park! I am a big fan of festivals in general, and it was a welcome treat to have such an amazing festival in Denver celebrating Asian culture --- food, dance, martial arts, and, yes, dragon boat racing. So of course I was thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as volunteer photographer for the weekend. I had a fabulous time capturing all of the colors and excitement of the festival, plus I certainly had my fill of teriyaki chicken on a stick and bubble tea! Can't get much better than that. I'm already looking forward to next year's event.
