Katie and Kevin - Married!

I love an emotional "first look," and I love a backyard wedding. So, I absolutely loved Katie and Kevin's wedding in Fruita, CO. As soon as Kevin saw his beautiful bride, his eyes started to tear as they both embraced and savored their moment together- just the two of them (and their two dogs, of course). They were married in the backyard of Katie's family home, and it was the perfect setting for a casual yet elegant evening with family and friends.

Sweet Baby Sally - 6 months!

Baby Sally is growing quickly. And for the first time, she sat all by herself during her 6-month portrait session! I was glad to capture this "first" and many sweet moments with her mom and dad...

Jess and Jim- Married!

They say that rain is good luck on your wedding day- Jess and Jim must be very lucky because it poured during their outdoor ceremony in Steamboat Springs! It was sprinkling during the processional, but just as they were about to say their vows to each other, it started to downpour. Everyone dashed for cover, and after a few minutes, the clouds started to pass and Jess and Jim were finally able to share their vows during take two of their ceremony. As they walked down the aisle as husband and wife, they were both overflowing with joy. The rain definitely couldn't wipe the smiles off of the faces of these two! And when the sun finally broke through, the perfect rainbow shined just for them...

Meagan & Troy - Married!

It was an honor and pleasure to document Meagan & Troy's wedding day. They met each other at a friend's wedding- Troy was a groomsman and Meagan was a bridesmaid, and they were lucky enough to be paired together. On their wedding day, it was so great to watch them walk, or I should say dance, down the aisle as husband and wife. It was a laid back and perfect evening, full of celebration with all of their friends and family.
